Research:
Dr. Petersen's current research projects center around the development and application of functional data techniques to data sets with large and/or complex structure. Ongoing collaborations include classification and regression problems using CT (computed tomography) scans for post-intracerebral hemorrhage subjects and estimation of brain functional connectivity networks via functional graphical models.
