UCSB's Bren School of Environmental Science and Management invites applications for temporary, part-time lecturers who can teach one or more graduate-level courses for master’s students pursuing professional degrees in Environmental Data Science (MEDS) and/or Environmental Science and Management (MESM).
The Bren School is specifically looking to fill positions in the following areas of Data Science instruction:
- Data Visualization and Communication
- Ethics and Bias
- Analytic Workflows and Scientific Reproducibility
- Team Science, Collaborative Analysis and Project Management
- Metadata Standards, Data Modeling and Data Semantics
- Text and Sentiment Analysis for Environmental Problems
- Machine Learning for Environmental Science
